Overview
The ArpEx symposium explores how sensitive and artistic practices contribute to knowledge production on uncertain spaces (such as wastelands, interstices, and neglected areas). It aims to address both the potential and the limitations of these approaches in understanding transforming territories.
Three key dimensions will be discussed :
Media and formats that support the communication, dissemination, and transmission of scientific knowledge
Tools and methods drawn from artistic and scientific practices
New narratives and insights made possible through sensitive and artistic practices

This event is part of the research dynamics of the UMR Ressources and is supported by the Université Clermont-Auvergne. It builds on projects such as : • Inter-Friches Network (MSH PN, 2019–2024) • Interdisciplinary College for Territorial Sciences (2022–2024) • Project SUNLOOP / BiodivNBS (2025–2028)
